From 2015 until early 2020, I hosted Afterimages, an overnight show on WHUPfm in Hillsborough, North Carolina. We featured psychedelic music from the 1950s through today, from the pop, rock, free jazz, folk, and global music communities. Now, like a phoenix from the ashes, Sounds of the Sea emerges as the worthy successor to Afterimages. Three hours of relaxing sounds, incorporating the mellower sides of all those genres and more. The show airs live in Youghal, Ireland, on Community Radio Youghal (CRY 104fm), and Hillsborough, North Carolina (WHUPfm), and can be streamed on demand at both CRY104fm.com and WHUPfm.org
